Debra L. Strickland

She was the loving wife of William T. Croom for 9 years.

Born on June 23, 1951 in Marion, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mildred (Lane) Strickland, Jr.

She was the national marketing director for the Alabama Theater and Planet Hollywood for 25 years. She was a member of Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband, Debbie is also survived by two sons, Kevin C. Hoover (Suzanne) of Myrtle Beach; and Daniel A. Hoover (Julie) of St. Simons Island, GA; two grandchildren, Baxley Hoover and Charlee Grace Hoover; and her brother, Allen Strickland (Deby) of Marion, SC.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, 410 6th Ave. South, North Myrtle Beach, with the Rev. Kelly Gabriele officiating.
