Richard E. Milner

Loving husband of over 46 years to Karen Milner, nee Steensma; Beloved father to Robert Milner, Melissa (Marc) Majewski, and Matthew (Caroline) Milner; Cherished grandfather to Nathan, Owen, Emmett, and Claire; Dear brother to Mike Milner, Carol (Dave) Kohlsaat, Steve Milner, Mark (Adriane) Milner, and Jane (Mark) Hemauer; Uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Milner.

Rick graduated from Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, IL before spending his over 50 year professional career working for Chemring, formally known as Scot Incorporated. He was always known to have “magic hands”, having the ability to fix and create anything. He also loved playing his guitar and riding his Harley. Rick always had a welcoming smile, was kind-hearted, caring, sweet, and had the ability to make others laugh. Most importantly though, his passion in life was his family, and he cherished the moments he had with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. He was loved by all, and will be missed by many.

Friends and family will gather for a memorial visitation for Rick that will be held from 4 - 8 PM on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532. Interment private.
