Gene N. Burrell, age 75, United States Marine Veteran, passed away on August 14, 2024. Loving husband of the late Cora Mae Burrell; Beloved father of Dena (Rob) Hicks, Angelina (Matt) Corley, and Vinson (Kelly) Burrell; Cherished grandfather of Clayton, Carly, Abrianna Mae, Jeremy, Cora, Dylan, and Maddy; Dear brother of Linda (the late Sal) Ventrelle; uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Angelina Burrell, along with his sister, Mary (Bill) Kuta.
Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Visitation for Gene that will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 3 - 8 PM, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, Illinois where a Memorial Service will then take place on Wednesday, September 4, at 10 AM. Inurnment to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
