Evelyn Pochron Funk

Evelyn Funk, nee Pochron died on April 10 after a 7 year courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was 88. Evelyn is survived by 3 sons and their wives: Michael (Patti), David (Karen) and James (Janet). She adored her 6 granddaughters Christina, Jennifer, Stephanie, Michelle, Kimberly and Nicole. Evelyn was also a proud great grandmother of Jason, Jr. She is survived by one sister, Sr. Relinette, TOSF and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn joins her husband, Florian Funk and 9 siblings in eternal life. Visitation Wednesday, April 13th, 3-8 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle (on Rt. 53, ½ mile south of Ogden Ave. / Rt. 34) where funeral services will begin Thursday, April 14th, 9:15 am and proceed to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church for mass at 10:00 am. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Joseph, Third Order of St. Francis C/O Sister Barbara Koza, Clare Oaks, 825 Carillon Dr., Bartlett, Il. 60103.
