Chris was born on February 20th, 1962 in Chicago to Antonio Jimenez and Adelle Vasquez. After graduating from Gage Park High School in 1980, she began working full-time. Her untiring work ethic, intelligence and positive attitude earned her recognition and life-long friendships as she traveled career paths in retail, office management and leasing.
She approached a variety of health issues with fearlessness and determination. After being diagnosed with scleroderma in 2005, she attended support groups, eventually starting one herself. She found peace in connecting to others, offering encouragement and sharing a laugh when someone needed it most.
Chris was preceded by her father, Antonio, mother Adelle, step-mother, Lovie and brother, Arthur (Yvonne). She is survived by her children, Daniel and Kristin Mustari, daughter-in-law, June Mustari, granddaughter Josephine Mustari, brothers David (Carl) Jimenez, George (Dianne) Jimenez, Eddie (Karen) Jimenez, Lenny (Sandy) Jimenez, sisters Helen (Jack) Houston, Pam (Bob) Spodarek and Teresa (the late Russell) Nowacki.
