Voguel Pierre-Louis, born on August 28, 1945 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, gracefully concluded his journey on June 9, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His life, rich with experiences and marked by love, touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Born to Francois and Marcelle Pierre-Louis, Voguel was raised in a warm and loving family. He embraced the joys of childhood alongside his siblings: Joseph Mueller Pierre-Louis, Marlene Moise (deceased), Yanick Oliver, and Yvrose Delice, and his step-siblings Marie Joseph Saget and Victoria Benoit (deceased). Even amidst life's inevitable challenges, Voguel forged lasting bonds with his family.
In December 1972, Voguel married his soulmate Maud Thadal, and they embarked on a journey of love and companionship that spanned over five decades. Their union was blessed with two children, Vladimir and Raquel, who were the center of Voguel's world. He was a dedicated father, pouring his heart and soul into nurturing and supporting his children as they pursued their dreams.
In pursuit of a better future, Voguel immigrated to the United States in 1973, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his family. His unwavering determination and perseverance led him to obtain citizenship in 1990, a testament to his commitment to his new home.
Voguel was a man of many passions. He found solace in the pages of books, the melodies of music, and the warmth of his family's embrace. He cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife, Maud, and found immense joy in caring for his grandchildren, Jonathan and Joshua, who brought boundless happiness into his life.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, devoted children, and adoring grandchildren. Voguel's presence will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings,as well as by his extended family and friends.
Though his physical presence may no longer grace this earth, Voguel's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his legacy of love, kindness, and resilience continue to inspire and uplift those who follow in his footsteps.
Rest in peace, Voguel. Your journey may have ended, but your memory will forever remain a beacon of light in our lives.
A visitation for Voguel will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A prayer service will occur Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Saint Gertrudes Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ.
