With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved, Nestor Mercado (47), of Rahway, New Jersey, on October 5, 2024. Nestor, affectionately known as Ken by close family and friends, was born in Manila, Philippines. Ken was a beloved son and brother. He was a devoted uncle who loved spending time with his nephew, Callum. He was a registered nurse who had a gift for serving others. He is a proud friend and coworker to many. Ken brought joy and good times to all that knew him. He had a kind and giving spirit. He is survived by his father, sisters, brother, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loving family members and friends.
To honor Ken’s memory, a service will be held at Church of St Anne, 325 2nd Avenue, Garwood, NJ, on Saturday, October 12th at 12:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after at the church hall
