Nancy Escobar

Born December 25, 1935 in Ramón de Guaninao, Cuba, she resided in Bayamo for 36 years until traveling to Elizabeth, New Jersey in August 1971 with her two young sons. Nancy was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family and Jesus Christ. Nancy poured her love and warmth into every moment spent with her family, especially with her home cooked meals and delicious desserts. Nancy was a devoted grandmother to Kristine (her husband Grady), Emily (her husband Rich), Trinny (her husband Josh), and her príncipe, Derek Rey, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Nancy is survived by her children, José Luis, his wife Giselle, Delio Rene, his wife Georgina, her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, whose memory she cherished.

Nancy will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to Jesus Christ.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home in Linden, NJ (2124 East Saint George Ave) where family and friends are invited to share stories and memories. A committal will follow Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Cemetery Rd, Woodbridge Township, NJ 08830.
