Lilia Esther Castro

Lilia Esther Castro, age 67, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021.at the University Hospital in Newark .She was born on July 17, 1953 in Cienaga Magdelena Colombia to the late Digna Nunez and Luis ( Putarco ) Lavalle.

Lilia married the love of her life Alfredo Castro. Lillia came to the United States in 1967 were she worked as a seamstress most of her life. She was a woman who cherished family and friends. All who know Lilia will miss her gentle smile.

Lilia is survived by her beloved son David Antonio Castro. Her brother Narciso Lavalle and sister Ines Lavalle and her loving grandchild Ayden Castro

A visitation for Lilia will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am at the St. Anthony R.C. Church 853 3rd Ave, Elizabeth,NJ 07202

Interment will follow at the Rosedale Cemetery, Linden NJ
