Kimberly A Vella

Born in Plainfield, NJ to her parents Thomas Kornett and Ann Costa, Kim was raised in Linden, NJ and attended Linden High School where she met the love of her life, Pasquale Vella. Kim attended Rowan University, and she worked as a manager for Nordstrom’s Department Store in Edison, NJ for many years. The couple married in 2002, and moved to Elizabeth, NJ. Kim would stop working in 2006, and devoted her life to her family, particularly her children Carmine and Dante, but also her many nieces and nephews.

Kimberly is survived by her loving husband Pasquale, her children Carmine and Dante, her mother Ann Kornett, her father Thomas Kornett and his wife Susan, and her brother T.J. Kornett and his wife Robin. Kim also shared a special relationship with her in-laws, Carmine and Maria Vella, Raymond and Angela Vella, Vittorio and Bianca Vella, and Christopher and Delfina Guenther.

A visitation for Kimberly will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at the funeral home on Thursday, May 11th at 8:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, May 11, 2023 at St. John Vianney R.C. Church, 420 Inman Ave., Colonia, at 9:30 AM. The funeral will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia NJ.
