E. Maureen O'Brien

E. Maureen O'Brien, of Elizabeth NJ, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2022. She was born November 17, 1936 in Mountaintop, PA to the late Leo Joseph Raber and Margaret Daur Raber. Maureen was a bookkeeper for the Union County Probation Department of Elizabeth NJ for many years before retiring. She was a long time parishioner of St. Genevieve Church for over 60 years and took part in the church choir and rosary society. Maureen always put family first and even became a Girl Scout Leader for both her daughter and granddaughter.

Maureen is predeceased by her loving husband James Patrick O'Brien, son Daniel L. O'Brien and brothers Leo J. Raber Jr. and Joseph Raber.

Maureen is survived by her loving children Maureen O'Brien Kolano and spouse Bill of Glen Gardner and James P. O'Brien and spouse Marybeth of Howell, her beautiful grandchildren Kaitlin O'Brien and Corey O'Brien and siblings Margaret Ann Mesgleski of Hillside and Anton Raber of Elizabeth NJ.

A visitation for E. Maureen will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will take place Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Genevieve Church, 200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07208. A funeral will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067.
