Arthur Gregory Petridis age 78 of Fogelsville, PA passed away peacefully on November 10th at the side of his loving wife. Born on July 1, 1946 Arthur was a beloved husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. He was married to Elizabeth for over 40 years, a partnership rooted in deep love, faith, and shared adventures.
As a father to two cherished children, Christine and Gregory, instilled values of hard work, kindness, and resilience. His influence extended lovingly to his four grandchildren, who knew him as a source of support and wisdom. He took immense pride in each of their achievements, and he was often found cheering them on in their sports or sharing his life stories with them.
Arthur had a lifelong passion for antique cars, a hobby that took him to countless car shows, swap meets, and restoration projects. He lovingly restored classic vehicles, always with an eye for detail and history. His garage was his sanctuary, a place where he poured his heart into preserving the beauty of a bygone era, and he was well-respected in the community for his craftsmanship and knowledge.
After many years of dedicated service in his career as an auto shop teacher, he retired to spend more time with his family and pursue his passions. In his later years, he enjoyed quiet mornings with a cup of coffee, concerts with Liz and watching his old favorite shows.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Elizabeth his two children, Christine and Gregory, their spouses Keith and Gaby and his four grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Lina and Charlie. He will be dearly missed but lovingly remembered for his generous spirit, his unwavering devotion to his family, and his unmatched love of classic cars.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to Arthur’s heart, in honor of his memory.
Services: viewing on Wednesday, November 13th starting at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church, 156 E. Main St., Emmaus. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Services will continue Thursday at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home in Linden 2124 East Saint Georges Ave Linden NJ 07036 5PM-9PM, Please meet back at the funeral home Friday morning at 8:30 AM to follow the funeral procession to Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.
