Tippy moved to Lincoln in 1949 and worked at LT&T. She married William “Bill” on November 27, and they raised three daughters.
She is survived by daughters, Krislene of Seattle and Tari Lowery (Gregg) of Colorado Springs; grandsons, Stephen Lowery of Denver and Nicholas Lowery of Westminster, CO; sister, Marlys Allen of Broomfield, CO; brother, David Wicken of Lincoln; brother-in-law, Don Gilliam of Lincoln; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She is preceded in death by husband, Bill; daughter, Nancy; parents; and siblings, Eloyce Beukelman, Daryl Wicken, Fern Myhre, Donna Nichols, Larry Wicken, Ken Wicken, Tom Wicken, and Midge Gillam.
Funeral services at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 South 14th Street Lincoln, NE 68512) on Friday, December 13 at 2:00 pm. Viewing available one hour prior to service.
