Steve Drain

Steve Drain, age 63, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was born, as far as our community knows, February 26, 1963. Where that birth took place, the names of his parents and his sibling or siblings is unknown to us. The place and extent of his education is unknown to us.

Steve was variously employed through the course of his life in the building and automobile maintenance industries. At one point in his life, he was married; however, his spouse’s name and present location is unknown to us. He is survived by his son of that marriage, Ross Drain.

Steve struggled for many years with substance abuse and all the difficulties involved in that. Steve’s life ended on or somewhat prior to March 1, 2025 when his body was discovered. His life is solemnly remembered among us today with the impactful recognition of the devastation that alcoholism can work.

Abandon yourself to God as you understand God. Admit your faults to Him and your fellows. Clear away the wreckage of your past. Give freely of what you find and join us. We shall be with you in the Fellowship of the Spirit, and you will surely meet some of us as you trudge the Road of Happy Destiny. May God bless you and keep you—until then.

A celebration of life for Steve will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 3:00 PM at The Meeting Place, 2748 S. Street, Lincoln, NE 68503. All who knew Steve are welcome to attend and celebrate him.
