Scott had a career of 38 years with NEBCO, Inc. in Lincoln. He worked his way up to truck driver and finally as a warehouse equipment operator. He cared deeply for those he worked with and the entire Abel family.
His interests included sports with an emphasis on Nascar (favorite driver was #20 Tony Stewart), the Huskers, and Kansas City Chiefs. He enjoyed listening to music and had a wide-ranging taste in genres. Scott was generous with others if he knew them or not. He would never pass by a stranger in need and would often pitch in to help others any way they needed. He had a big sense of humor and always found ways to tell jokes and make others laugh.
Scott is survived by his loving wife Reba Jack Robinson; stepdaughters, Debra, Ashley; grandson, Bradley "Bug"; sisters, Jeanne (Rick), Ruth (Dennis), Rosie (Butch), Connie; step-sister, Arlene; brothers, Jeff (Kim), Glenn, Bill; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Scott is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Lonnie and Marvin.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home at 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE 68512.
