Russell D. Topp, born April 9, 1961, passed away Dec. 21, 2015. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, he lived his entire life in the Panama/Adams area. He graduated from Norris High School in 1979, then farmed with his dad. He then went on to work Village maintenance for the city of Adams. Then he worked for the State of Nebraska . Russell retired in June, 2015 from the Nebraska Rural Water Association. Russell was an avid Harley Davidson rider, bow hunter, duck hunter, fisherman, wine maker, loved camping and camp fires. Survived by wife Karen (Steffens); sons Jonathan (Kayla), Benjamin (Karly); parents Duane and Shirley Topp; brothers Rodney (Deb), Bruce (Kim); sisters Cindy (Doug) Holden, Barb (Jeff) Jobes, Carla Anderson; brother-in-law Keith Freeouf; loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, many special friends, and loving pets, Gracie and Sadie. Preceded in death by grandparents, uncle, father and mother in law, and sister in law. Services will be held Monday, Dec. 28th at Hope Reform Church, at 10:30am, located at 4700 S. Folsom, Lincoln.
