Our Papa was a man of stories and passions. A complex, difficult childhood was filled with experience and adventure that would shape his life. Twenty-two years of service to his country in the U.S. Air Force took him around the world, brought him his wife, Brigitte, of 63 years, and a wealth of stories. Four children provided joy, sometimes heartache, always devotion, and an opportunity to tell stories and make new stories. His passion for collecting was unsurpassed and his eye for value second to none, each acquisition coming with a new story. Retirement RV adventures led to almost every corner of the continent and you guessed it, lots of new stories. His ten grandchildren provided new opportunities and many listening ears. His greatest story, the one he made with our mama, his helpmate, best friend and fellow adventurer is still being written in the lives of those he leaves behind. We can say with full hearts, that it’s a good thing his Lord and Savior is a good listener!
