Mary Lou (Gregerson) Jackson

Mary Lou (Gregerson) Jackson, 88, formerly of Urbana-Champaign, Il, passed away Friday December 16, 2022 in Lincoln, NE. Born June 1934 to Louis and Anna Marie. Mary Lou was an independent, spunky woman with a thirst for life.

While she worked for Deluxe Checks in Accounts Receivable, her true passions included spending time with friends and family, while cheering on the University of Illinois. She enjoyed golf, cards, and good conversation, while always traveling and learning. She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her family; daughters Laura Fuller and her husband Richard Fuller, and Jody Gonzalez, sisters Nancy and Carol, brothers Jim, George, and Joe, grandchildren Robert, Bill, Jessica, Alex, Steve, Liz, and Jaime, along with her many great grandchildren, Aidan, Jocelyn, Ricky, Chole, Claire, Victoria, Mark, Cade, Lillian, Elliot, Nathaniel, Naomi, Bella, Adalynn, and Louis, best friend Dick Higbea.

Preceded in death by sisters Jean and Peggy, brothers Bob, Arthur and Gerald, ex-husband Robert, sons-in-law David and Mark

A celebration of Mary Lou’s life will take place on December 28, 2023 at Lincoln Memorial, 6800 S 14th St Lincoln, NE at 2pm. Cremation, no visitation. Private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to Sowers Club of Lincoln, 1701 S. 17th St #1H Lincoln, NE 68502
