Louis Andrew Moser, 85, passed away January 31, 2019. He was born September 3, 1933 in Davey, Nebraska. He lived in Lincoln and Omaha until he was 13 and then moved to the family farm at Hallam. He graduated from Crete High School in 1951. Louis was a member of the National Guard and Army Reserves for 3 years. He worked for the railroad for 46 years and retired in 1997. He was married and divorced to Velma (Bogle) Moser, they had 3 sons together. Louis was married to Connie Baker until her passing in 2008. He lived in Lincoln the majority of his life, but moved to Crete shortly after his retirement from the railroad. He was an active member of the Crete Eagles and served as Secretary and President for 10 years. Louis enjoyed fishing in his more active years. He was an avid fan of western TV shows and movies. He watched all of the Nebraska football games, both good ones and bad ones. Louis liked to work crossword puzzles and loved to watch for bargains in the grocery ads. He was very well liked wherever he went and lived and will be missed by one and all. Louis is survived by his children, Brad (Mary) Moser, Randall (Deanna) Moser and Terrance (Anita) Moser; grandchildren, Jason (Kerry) Moser, Laura (Clayton) Bodfield; Elizabeth (Jeremy) Heusinkvelt, Jared (Kristi) Moser; Angela Heidecker, Brandon Moser, Shawn, Stacey and Kasi O’Keefe, Cameron (Sarah) O’Keefe, Karson (Adrian) Doan, Daniel Moser, Alex Moser, Zoe Moser; 16 great-grandchildren as well as his sister, Carol Moser. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Moser and Erma (Wagner) Moser and his wife, Connie. Memorial Services will be Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St in Lincoln. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials have been suggested to the family for future designation.
