Lisa Elaine Jindra

Lisa was born June 30, 1963 in Denver, CO to her parents Delbert and Carol Gabbert. Growing up in northeast Missouri, Lisa enjoyed the country, constantly surrounded by family and friends.

Lisa lives on through her children, Clayton Jindra (Crystal), Alixandria Jacob (Andrew), Dylan Jindra (Kylie) and July Jackson Jindra. So very precious to her, her grandchildren, Finley and (coming in June) Fletcher Jindra, Lucy and Polly Jacob, and Porter Jindra. Lisa also leaves behind both parents, and her loving sisters Melanie Gabbert and Janet Vaughn (Dennis), along with four-legged family members Daisy and Zoey Jindra and many extended family and friends.

Besides being a wonderful mother and grandmother, Lisa loved spontaneous camping trips, obscure Sunday outings, reading for hours on end, family reunions at the farm, marathon phone calls to her best friend Phyllis, singing along to good music, “sick” days, lake days, quiet time naps, taking her kids out to eat while Dad was out of town, aromatic candles, Oscar parties, cabin holidays, shopping for smokin’ deals, themed family dinners, and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

She left us suddenly and far too soon, with many plans of vacations and adventures to come. Memories of her humor and laughter will forever ring in the hearts of her loved ones. She made lives rich and edgy, was fiercely loved, and will be forever missed.

A celebration of life will be held at 16531 S. 38th St Roca, NE. The Creekside Event Barn at Roca Berry Farm/Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday April 25th from 4pm-7pm.
