Larry Joe Jordan

Son of Malcome Leon Jordan and Eula Gladys “Utley” Jordan. The family moved to the beautiful hills of Tennessee, and then to Lincoln when Larry was six years old. Larry attended Lincoln schools and later became a bartender at the Pub prior to becoming one of Lincoln's best concrete Flatwork Finishers.

Larry married the Love of his Life, Carol Cheek on November 20th, 1981.

With their blended family, Larry was Dad to Stacey, Heather, Larry Lee, Brett, Joleen, and Shannon.

Larry Joe enjoyed mushroom hunting, watching the annual Nascar races, and spending time with his dog, Missy.

Most of all, he enjoyed having his family come to his home for holidays and to share a meal, get to hold a grandbaby or two and eventually great-grandbabies.

He Loved his family. His Love will be forever in our Hearts.

Larry is survived by his children, Stacey (Dave) Wiltshire; Heather (Lee) Mehser; Larry Jordan; Brett (Jessica) Jordan; Joleen (Rick) Marsh; Shannon (Clint) Brooks; grandchildren, Samantha, Jordan, Ayla, Amanda, Amber, Aleisha, Curtis, Hailey, Dana Jo, Ally, Laney, and Clayton; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Alan “Bubba” Jordan of Lincoln, Nebraska; and sister, Debbie Jordan Olson of Huntingdon, Tennessee.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Gladys; wife, Carol; and sister, Pat Millin.

Memorial and Interment services by Reverend Kenneth Hessel will be held on Friday, July 15th, 10 am at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE. lincolnfh.com
