Darlene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Tom Bennett, of Elkhorn, NE; son, Steve Dirksen, of Johnson, NE; daughter and son-in-law, Deb and Mike Ellis, of Palm Desert, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Joan Peters, of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Mike, Nick, Peter, Michelle, and Ron; great-grandchildren, Cole, Elaina, Noah, Elijah, Andrew, Mason, Avery, Zachery, and Lillian.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Arnold Peters Jr.
A visitation for Darlene will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Sheridan Lutheran Church, 6955 Old Cheney Rd, Lincoln, NE. An interment will occur Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6700 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE.
