Daughter of Wilma and Albert Foust
After graduating from Schuyler High School, Bert received her teaching certificate and taught grades 1-6 in a one room school house in the country.
After marrying her high school sweetheart, and after Dick was discharged from the military, they moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to start their family. While Dick worked two jobs for years, Bert stayed home and opened an in home licensed daycare in 1966, touching the lives of many many children for 41 years. It was so important for Bert to be home with her kids from waking them in the morning, to tucking them into bed at night.
During that time, Bert joined and was a faithful and dedicated member of Beta Sigma Phi and was honored to receive her 50 year membership pin. For years, she was also an active member in Eastern Star, Just Pals, and Red Hats.
In 2007, after retiring from daycare, Bert enjoyed traveling with friends, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Dick, sister Valda (Chris), and brother's Leroy (Marie), and Carroll (Doris).
Survivors are son Michael, daughter's Cindy (Kenny) and Sally (Tony), 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Mom's love, dedication, and vivacious personality will be forever missed.
