Paul Graham Hopkins September 10, 1928-October 12, 2017 Paul passed away peacefully in Lincoln, CA at 89 years of age, or as he would say, in his “90th year”. He continued to smile and laugh through his last few years of declining health from several orthopedic surgeries and minor strokes. He is preceded in death by his “Granny”, Louise Neve and his parents, Rae and Harvey Craig, as well as, his first wife, Carol Dias, the mother of his “girls”. Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda, and his “girls” as he continued to call them over the years. They are : Paula Fearheller (David) of Palm Desert, CA, Michelle Cole (Terry) of Kirkland, WA/Scottsdale, AZ and Carrie St Clair (Tom) of Discovery Bay, CA. He is, also, survived by his son, Paul Hopkins Jr of Black Diamond, WA. Paul will be looking over his 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren along with 1 who is on her way. He would say “GRAND” children and “GREAT” grandchildren since he was just sure they are the cutest and smartest kids on the planet ! Paul was born in Cleveland, OH and spent his school years in Detroit, MI. He came to Monterey, CA as a young man and had his children there. He was in the automobile business both in Monterey and San Jose before retiring in 1990. Paul continued to stay current with his passion for automobiles. He was proud to be a 32nd° Mason and Shriner, as well as, an Elk. Paul enjoyed golfing, boating, dancing and music, but motor homing was his biggest pleasure. Paul was an affectionate, tender hearted soul and had a terrific sense of humor. He will be missed, not only, by his family, but by so many good friends. A celebration of his life is being planned in the New Year shortly after the busy Holiday Season. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated either to your favorite charity or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children @ 2425 Stockton Blvd Sacramento CA 95817 www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org
