Shane Dale Woods

Shane Dale Woods, 45, of Lima, died at 9:40 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017 at Mercy-St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1972 in Lima, to Rick Gass of Lima and Terri (Wheeler) Watterson of Cridersville. His adoptive father, Rick Woods, survives in Sidney.

Also surviving are: his companion, Jennifer Wilkerson of Ada; his children, Casey and Cody Woods of Lima, and their mother Genelle Mull of Gomer; Haydn Snyder and his mother Danielle Snyder of Lima; sisters, Tiffany Woods and Missy (Tommy) Shrider both of Lima; brother, Rick (Rhonda) Gass, Jr. of Florida; aunts, Brenda Wheeler and Becky Bulerin, and uncle Bernie Wheeler, all of Lima; and cousins, Sean (Ada) Bulerin of Lima, Joey (Melissa) Bulerin of Ada, Larry (Denise) Miller of Wapakoneta, Billie Jo Boughan of Waynesfield and Shonda Moyler of Lima; two grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

Shane had been employed at Walter & Son Associates and was currently in charge of maintenance at Willow Lake Apartments. He was a graduate of Shawnee High School and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #370. He attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, was a fan of Paddy Macs and loved to fish.

Memorial services will begin at 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, with his brother, Rick Gass, Jr. officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
