Jackie Arthur Jordan

Jackie Arthur Jordan, 74, of Lima died 3:04 p.m. Sunday December 5, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.. He was born on June 4, 1936 in Pineville, KY to Rev. Elisha and Mary A (Goodin) Jordan and they preceded him in death. On May 25, 1965 he married Mary Margaret Mowery and she survives him.

Mr. Jordan was retired from Local Laborers Union # 329. He was affliated with Lima Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid CB user (channel 13), with the handle of ‘Big Jack’ .

He was survived by his children: Gary (Penny) Adams of Martinsville, IN; Kim (Todd) Wilkerson of Lima, Rhonda (Paul) Guyton of S. Charleston, OH, Todd (Stephanie) Jordan of Lima, 10 grandchildren: Amanda, Jordan, Ashley, Evan, Jennifer, Dillon, Brooke, Tessa, Tyler and Averie and a great grandchild: Destiny. He is also survived by a brother: Claud (Diane) Jordan of Lima, two sisters: Renie (Oscar) Lesley of Ft Wayne, IN and Kathleen Hembry of Mt Vernon, KY.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by the following siblings: Victor, Pascal and Rufus Jordan and Pearlie Thompson.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Lima Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Brock as officiant. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family and friends of the Jordan’s may call Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
