Reginald Alvin Hansberry, 58, beloved son, brother and uncle of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on February 21,2023. He was born on January 18, 1965 to Bernice and the late Albert Hansberry in Newark, NJ. The family moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where Reginald developed a love for fishing, all animals and the ocean. Reginald attended and graduated from Nova High School in Ft. Lauderdale in 1983. He eventually relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and made his home there since that time.
Reginald loved dogs, fishing, playing chess and spades. He also enjoyed making phone calls and joking with friends and family.
Reginald will live on in our hearts forever. He is preceded in death by his father Albert Hansberry and his brother Albert Hansberry Jr. He leaves to mourn his mother, Bernice Hansberry, his sisters Telita Benjamin and Loretta Hansberry, Anne Stockton one brother Michael Hansberry nieces Michelle Wilson and Melanie Hansberry, nephews Karim and Hakim Lyon and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
