Wade was born into a farming family. A third generation farmer, he continued to live the farming lifestyle to its fullest; it was in his blood. His love for his family was unmeasured, especially for his grandkids. He was an avid sports fan, no matter what team or sport. The newspaper was his social media and he read it everyday.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Hoover Foust; mother, Myrtle Alice Hughes Pugh; and special cousin, Joe Foust.
Wade is survived by his wife, Judy Pearson Foust; sons, Eric Foust and his wife, Kristy and Brian Foust and his wife, Chelsea; grandchildren, Ansley, Grayson, Emory, Berkley and Cooper Foust; sisters, Shelia Haithcock and her husband, Gary, Joyce Cheek, Helen Pearson and her husband, Matthew, Lou Gibson; and brother, Jack Foust.
At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, memo: Harvest Vision Fund, 4765 Sandy Creek Church Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
