The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at New Day Ministries, 116 Depot Street, Liberty, NC.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph Isaac and Margaret Thomas Hobbs and was also preceded in death by her sister, Ennis Hobbs Sutphin.
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 27 years, Charles Howard Blake; step-daughter, Kimberly Blake; niece, Ronda Sizemore (Mickey); nephews, Joey Sutphin (Becky) and Kevin Sutphin (Christie); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to Sheryl and Freddy Warren for their time and compassionate care given to JoAnn over this past year.
