A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty, with Pastor Andy Clapp officiating. She will lie in repose from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.
Ruth was the daughter of the late John and Mattie Wicker Curtis and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Branson Butler; and sisters, Mildred Scott and Winifred Humble.
Surviving is her daughter, Annette Butler Clark, and her husband Darryl. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at White Oak Manor for the love and care they showed Ruth over the years.
