Joseph Gary Crowson

Joe was an avid gardener and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Liberty. He worked for Slane Hosiery Mills as a plant manager in High Point.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev. Lorrel Strom-Jensen officiating; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 9 from 7 – 9 pm at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.

Joe was the son of the late Paul T. and Gladys Staley Crowson and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Beverley Butcher, Brenda Ferguson and Doris Crowson and brother, Paul Crowson.

Surviving is his wife of 46 years, Sudy Crowson; son, Wesley “Wes” Crowson of Liberty; brothers, Bill Crowson (Barbara) of Yadkinville, Johnny Crowson of Alabama, Tommy Crowson (Linda) of Siler City.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, PO Box 1166, Liberty, NC 27298.
