Freda Ann Smith Dale

Freda was a loving and generous soul. Her wonderful sense of humor allowed her to grow close to many people in her life. She had a love of gardening, crafting and taking care of her dachshunds, but most of all, she loved her family with her whole heart. She will be greatly missed.

Freda was the daughter of the late Garl and Daisy Smith and was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Howard Dale; twin daughters, Janet and Jeanette; sister, Linda Isley; and brothers, Bennie Smith and Alton Smith.

She leaves behind her daughters, Janice Willard and Trisha Davis; grandchildren, Lee Dodson, Heather Williamson (Bruce), Jessie Carver (Mark), Carrie Davis, and Jake Davis; step-grandchildren, Colleen Willard, Leigh-Anne Quinones, and David Davis; great-grandchildren, Taylor Dodson, Ashlyn Dodson, Cassidy Williamson, Audrey Carver and Jack Carver. Freda also leaves behind several family members and friends who were special to her: Rose May, Lisa Crawford, Randy Davis, Tommy Dodson, Darrell Davis, and Brian Willard.

A private graveside service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
