Dwight Rodney Wood, 51, of Liberty died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at UNC Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 8th at 4 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4820 Liberty Grove Road, Liberty. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Odell Wood.
Surviving is his wife of 32 years, Susan Hyatt Wood; son, Dwight Rodney Wood, Jr.; mother, Maxine Hall Wood; brothers, Dell Allan Wood and Barry Dean Wood; grandchildren, Austin Blake Wood, Briana Wood, and Alexia Wood.
