Herb Childress, 75, Liberty, MO, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 16, 2024. He was born in Maryville, MO on March 4, 1949 to Evelyn Baker Childress and Lester Childress, Jr. He attended South Nodaway High School, Barnard, MO, and was a Vietnam veteran.
Survivors include Karen Childress, of the home; his children, Laura Stinnett (Ken), and Brian Childress (Lisa); one brother, Kirby Childress (Cindy); and grandchildren Kelsey Childress, Jack Childress, and Bill Childress.
Herb was cremated under the care and guidance of Church Archer Funeral Home, Liberty. A private memorial celebration of his life is pending.
