Danny J. Holloman, 69, of Centerville, Indiana passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born July 15, 1954, in Tell City, Indiana, he was the son of Russel L. and Martine Hale Holloman. He attended Anderson High School and graduated in 1973. Danny enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1974, and obtained the rank of E6. He was honorably discharged in 1980.
Danny was a member of the Brownsville Masonic Lodge #70 for over 30 years and was a five times past master. He was a truck driver for many years. Danny’s favorite pass time was to deer hunt, watch IU men’s basketball and spending time with family, grandchildren, and friends.
Danny is survived by his wife Carol (Hensley) Holloman, they shared 39 years of a wonderful marriage. He will be sadly missed by his children: Misty Green of Gilmer, TX, Scott (Angela) Ray of Galena, MO, Lora (Troy) Cruse of Centerville, IN; grandchildren: Logan, Landon, and Lauren Green, Kaytlyn (Jackson) Richards, Kylie Ray, Tory and Tanner Cruse.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and brothers: Randy and Scott Holloman.
The family would like to thank everyone at Reid Oncology and Reid Hospice for their compassion and excellent care given to Danny and his family.
A Masonic Service for Danny will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at Showalter Blackwell Long, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at West Point Cemetery.
