CAYCE – A memorial service for Tyler Jimell Boyd, 21, of Cayce will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at State Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a memorial service following. Tyler was born December 29, 1994 in West Columbia and passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was the son of Robert Brian Boyd and Kristine Traw Boyd. Tyler was a graduate of Lexington High School, and a member of State Street Baptist Church. He loved reading his Bible daily. He loved music and was a talented guitar and piano player. He also was a gifted artist who won awards at the State Fair and had been accepted to Savannah School of Art and Design. He and his brother were owners and operators of Annie Mae's Home Cooking restaurant in Duncan, SC. Tyler is survived by his brother and best friend Hunter Boyd; grandparents, Jimell and Annie Mae Boyd of Cayce, James and Elaine Harkey of Lexington and Doyle and Norma Traw of Chistochina, Alaska; aunts and uncles, Wesley and Sydney Boyd, Perry and Julie Traw, Russell and Alyson Traw and many cousins. In his short life, Tyler touched many lives with his kindness, bright smile, tender heart and many talents. He will be missed by so many.
