WEST COLUMBIA – Funeral services for Scott Marvin Evans, 60, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101.
Mr. Evans was born May 29, 1958 in Fayetteville, NC, and passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018. He was a son of the late Bennie Max and Lila Baker Evans. He was employed by Mid-State Tire and was retired from UPS. He formerly worked at Discount Tire on Platt Springs Road and Discount Tire of Lexington.
Mr. Evans is survived by his son, Christopher Evans of Lexington; daughter, Miranda Evans of Lexington; sister, Sharon Pigage of West Columbia; brother, Steve Evans of West Columbia and grandson, Ayden Evans of Lexington.
