Ralph Lee Fisher

Ralph Lee Fisher of Prosperity, SC, 64, was born December 19, 1957 in Charleston, WV and passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Charleston, SC due to a sudden illness. He was the son of Jerry and Pat Petrella Fisher.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marsha Fisher; his stepchildren, Jason (Jodi) Carmichael and Jennifer Covington. Ralph was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren, Josie and Jonah Carmichael and Sydney Covington. Ralph was close with his brother, John “Scotty” (Andrea) Fisher and their three children, Isaac, Sofia and Isaiah. He was loved by in-laws, Judy (Frank) Grandstaff, Susan (Steve) Chambers and Amy (Jim) David. He was a fun uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. His greatest accomplishment was achieved when he finished building his dream house on Lake Murray where precious moments were spent with family.

Ralph was a respected businessman, currently the owner of Dr. Rooter Plumbing located in Lexington, SC. He was formerly in the car business for thirty years and held various management positions across South Carolina.

One of Ralph’s favorite places to be was on Lake Murray on his boat watching the magnificent sunsets with the love of his life, Marsha. He found so much joy with his faithful assistant, Captain Sydney, his granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Nellie Petrella and paternal grandparents, Dennis and Lessie Fisher.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a gathering following the service at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed through our Facebook page, Lexington: Facebook.com/LexingtonChapel for all who cannot attend.

The family would like to thank Lexington Medical Center and Medical University of South Carolina for their compassion and care. The family is comforted in knowing we will meet again in Heaven.
