Linda C Phipps

LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Linda Carol Phipps, 66, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Lexington, Barr Road with interment in Lexington Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Mrs. Phipps was born March 3, 1947 in Miami, FL and passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Charles Brammer, Sr. and Carolyn Beck Brammer. Linda experienced great joy in serving the Lord in the mission field. She enjoyed photography, music, hospitality and fellowship with others. Linda’s greatest trait was the Spirit-filled recognition of the sanctity and preciousness of life.

Mrs. Phipps is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Frank A. Phipps, III; son, Todd A. Phipps; daughter, Leah Marie Smith and her husband, Seth Smith who is loved as a son; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth “Emmie” Smith and Anna Rae Smith; sister-in-law, Geraldine Connelly and her family in Leesville, SC and Mary Lou McMillan and her family in Dunedin, FL.

Memorials may be made to the choirs of First Baptist Church of Lexington on Barr Road and Lexington Baptist Church on Main Street.
