She was predeceased by her mother and father, Barbara & William Griffith, and many aunts and uncles.
Kellyanne developed her love for the ocean in her early years spending her summers down the Jersey shore with her parents and sister, Marianne. Her Aunt Kay and Uncle Chuck became an influence in her life when her father tragically passed away when she was 11. In middle school, her passion for music developed when her band teacher handed her the baritone. Within a year, she earned herself a spot in the All South Jersey Band. This passion later expanded to the french horn and trombone which she played throughout High School. She lettered in marching band, received pins for Jazz Band and Show Band, and received the John Philip Sousa Award. She was an inaugural member of the Lenape Regional Symphonic Orchestra. If she had any free time you could find her at Tower Records with friends.
Kellyanne graduated from Lenape High School (class of ‘92) in Medford, New Jersey where she met her highschool sweetheart (later husband) Tom. She started her career as a preschool teacher between being a stay-at-home mom for her two young kids. She went on to earn her Associate’s degree (class of 2010) from Kaplan College in Early Childhood Development which “Miss Kellyanne” used for the majority of her fifteen years of teaching preschool. She most recently worked at GIS HireRight for four years, using her experience and kindness to provide support to many across the country.
Kellyanne was a devoted wife, loving mother, patient mentor, and a reliable co-worker. She invested her time cooking the best meals for her husband, kids, and occasionally, her English bulldog, Charlie. She always supported her family whether it be attending band competitions, soccer games, cheerleading, school plays, or Scouting events; her favorite being Scouting for Food. Some of her favorite memories were hosting family get-togethers, seeing Christmas lights, taking her kids back-to-school shopping, and being creative with numerous art projects.
She enjoyed spending her free time listening to loud music, reading books of all kinds, taking leisurely car rides, and watching Disney movies or the Philadelphia Eagles. Kellyanne had a special love for animals and all things Mickey Mouse. Her beautiful soul will be dearly missed by all those she left behind.
