James Ian Calhoon

LEXINGTON - Funeral Services for James Ian Calhoon, 20, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Citadel Foundation, 171 Moultrie St., Charleston, SC 29409. Ian was born May 28, 1990 in Lexington, SC and passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011. Ian was the son of James Kurt Calhoon and Paula Rawl Calhoon.

Ian is survived by his parents; grandparents, Ann Scyphers Rawl Jodie and Joseph L. Jodie and Jimmy Reginald and Sandra Mosley Calhoon; great-grandmother, Anita G. Breese; sister and brother-in-law, Ashley Calhoon Sims and Blair Sims; sister, Sandra Lee Calhoon; nieces, Aubrey Leigh Ferrell and Maisy Marie Sims; aunts and uncles, Otis Bodie and Melissa Rawl, Vernon G. and Debbie Hester, Gregory J. and Cindy Konduros, Patrick K. and Candi Bowen, Mark R. Calhoon and numerous cousins. Ian was predeceased by his grandfather, Otis Bodie Rawl, Sr.
