Mr. Darin Ross Ross Myers

A Celebration of Life Service for Darin Ross Myers, 42, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Lexington. Mr. Myers will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Ross was born December 30, 1968 in Milton, WV and passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 9, 2011. He was a son of Jimmie and Betty Myers. Ross was born and raised in Milton, WV, moved to Jacksonville, FL where he met and married his beloved wife, Alison Marie Sexe. Ross was a graduate of the University of North Florida and was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was a Cub Scout leader with Pack 507. He coached Upwards basketball, flag football and soccer. He was a FBC Children’s Ministry Leader where he and his family were members. Ross was a dedicated loving husband and father. He was a wonderful person and everyone felt blessed to have known him. He was employed with Travelers Insurance Company as a Claims Manager.

Ross is survived by his loving wife, Alison of Lexington; children, Justin, Tyler, Cameron, Joshua and expecting in December, Jacob; parents, Jimmie and Betty; sister, Lisa M. Johnson (Daniel) and brother, Howard Brent Myers (Lois). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Myers Family Fund c/o Congaree State Bank, P.O. Box 3018, West Columbia, SC 29171.
