To Johnny & family.  We are sending our sincere condolences during this time.  We have been reminiscing about the fun times we all had in high school.  May God bless.

Claudia and I shared offices next door to each other for many years at Red Bank Elementary. Claudia had such heart for the children at our school especially the children on the 100 hall! Claudia's love for her devoted Johnny and her beautiful children and grandchildren was expressed daily and known by everyone who was in her circle of co-workers and friends.  Claudia lived life to the fullest and did not meet a stranger.  Her humor, wit, and intelligence were quickly revealed when she spoke!  I would marvel and always get a good laugh when she would  tell a story and spit out one of her old southern sayings.  Claudia could have chosen any path in life, but she was so content with the simplest of things and the things that mattered most...family, friends,  serving others.  And I remember how she loved a good bowl of vegetable soup and a piece of cornbread!
I am so sorry I will not be at Claudia's service today.  My deepest, deepest sympathies to your family! Love to you all, Jeannie Epps

Condolences from the entire Daniel family, longtime friends and neighbors. To share a memory, I remember when I was 7, and my youngest sister was being born. We stayed with the Wingard family, and I remember Claudia coming and waking me up to tell me I had a new baby sister. I can still see her smiling face looking down on me. She was a kind, sweet and gentle lady, and I am glad that I knew her as a child growing up.

I remember when Johnny and Claudia were dating, even before they were married, and that’s been a long time!  Memories of living next door to the wonderful Wingard family and the fun we all had. I was so sorry to hear of Claudia's passing.  She and I worked together at Red Bank Elementary and we bowled on a team together.  I loved her laugh, her sense of humor, or sunny attitude, her friendship, and her kindness.  She will be missed tremendously.

I noted that someone else used the word that came to my mind to describe Claudia. She was FIERCE. She always stood behind her family, friends and animals. She loved us  all with everything she had. She loved us fiercely! 
 May all who loved her find comfort in having an angel in heaven who will always be looking after you.
Love you Claudia! I am grateful that I knew you and you shared your family with me!


Claudia was my mother-in-law (I am Angie, Jay's wife) however, she was more like a mother to me. 

The picture above is one of my favorites, as it portrays her usual concern for me (the look on her face says it all :-), as I had just had another one of my accidents (note the crutches.) 

She loved hard, she was selfless, putting everyone ahead of herself. She welcomed me and Dale (Tracy's husband) into the fold and accepted us as her own. Later when Christian and Angel would marry, she welcomed Lucy and Hunter into the expanding family as her own as well - not as "in-laws" but as her 'own'... she proudly introduced as as her own, and meant it! And we felt it! She loved her great grands, Nash and Ryder as well as Darlene, her sister ('in-law') and those friends that came along to be family as well. She learned to love from 1John 4:19, "We Love Because He First Loved Us" She lived that out loud, and one of the first crowns she laid at Jesus' feet was the one she wore so well, the one of loving everyone more. 
 
Rest now Mom, you deserve it.

She was an incredible woman.   She loved fiercely and created a safe place for many.  She has left an incredible legacy behind.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family.  As you try to navigate this difficult time, I hope you find comfort in the many, many warm memories she gave you.  She loved you so very much! 

Claudia was always so kind and encouraging to me when I was a teacher at Red Bank Elementary.  My condolences to her family.


My sweet, sweet friend, I will miss you terribly and am so thankful for our friendship and our families’ love that grew across the decades as we added to our families and enjoyed time spent together. Rest In Peace knowing you were a good and faithful servant to our Lord and that your family is strong and have each other and so many friends to lean on for support. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you.  You were always there for me when I needed a friend, a sounding board, someone to laugh with, or a big sister. I am forever grateful for you.
