Benjamin Clarke Anderson

Benjamin Clarke Anderson, age 22, of Gilbert passed away on November 10th, 2024 surrounded by his family and close friends. He was born on February 20th, 2002 in Columbia, SC at Baptist Hospital. Ben was a blessing to us from the start.

Ben was a 2021 graduate of Gilbert High School. After graduating, Ben went into public works, working for the town of Gilbert.

Ben loved the outdoors, you could always find him hunting, fishing or out four wheeling with his buddies. He was a wonderful son, brother and friend, he will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Ben will always be remembered for the way he lit up a room, his laughter and joy were infectious. Whether you were family, a long-time friend, or someone lucky enough to meet him in passing, you would know the warmth of his heart.

Ben is survived by his parents, his Mother, Frances Brogdon Locklier(Scott); Father, Mark Francis Anderson; Sister, Marshall Anderson; maternal Grandparents, Laurie and Tonie Smith; and paternal Grandmother, Jimmie Anne Owens Anderson. Ben is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal Grandfather, Joseph Benjamin Brogdon and paternal Grandfather, Francis Henry Anderson III.

We invite you to join us for a service celebrating Ben’s life on Thursday November 14th, 2024 at 4:00pm at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home Lexington Chapel, 503 N. Lake Dr. Lexington South Carolina, 29072. Visitation will follow after his service.
