Norway – Raymond H. Boucher, 53, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 31 at Stephens Memorial Hospital. He was at Sunday River Ski Resort with his wife Louise watching their son Troy compete for a spot to the X-Games in Aspen, Colorado when he was stricken ill. He was born June 22, 1957, in Lewiston, the son of the late Normand and Jackie (Bosse) Boucher. He married Louise Theriault on November 7, 1992 and together they worked and raised their family in Lewiston. He was a Reactor Operator at Pioneer Plastics for the past 33 years. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Holy Cross Church. In his younger years he worked at Holiday Lanes where he was also a member of the local bowling league. He was an avid weightlifter who entered and won many body building competitions. He enjoyed being a sparring partner for Joey Gamache during Joey’s boxing career. In the more recent years he found great pleasure in riding his motorcycle, attending Red Sox games with his family, following his children around for their sporting events and most recently attending his grandson, Cameron’s hockey games.He is survived by his wife of 18 years Louise, three children; Jennifer, Troy and Taylor Boucher, one grandchild; Cameron Cote, two sisters; Lisa Williams and her husband Marc, Susan Donovan and her husband Randy, his mother in law; Madeleine Theriault, his sister in law; Christine Theriault, three brother in laws; Danny, Glenn and David Theriault. Besides his parents he was predeceased a few months ago by his father in law and best friend, Paul Theriault.
