Normand C. Rivard

Normand "Norm" was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 28, 1929 the son of Louis & Daisy (Gagne)

Rivard. He was married to Claudette (Blier) in Lewiston on July 29, 1949. He was tending bar at the

Webber Avenue Social Club for the past 30+ years where he formed many special friendships.

He was an avid fan of New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and local ice hockey teams.

He is survived by his loving wife Claudette of 66 years, a son Normand Jr. and wife Linda of Bangor,

two daughters Diane Drinkwater and husband Gary, Lorraine Bard and husband Roger both of Lewiston,

four grandchildren Jennifer Hebert of New Hampshire, Amy Heimerl of Auburn, Andrew Bard of

Lewiston and Marissa Rivard of Bangor, two great granddaughters Allison and Paige Hebert of New

Hampshire.

Normand was predeceased by his father, mother, two brothers and three sisters.

He will be forever remembered as a caring, loving husband, father, grandfather.

RIVARD died in Lewiston, November 18, 2015, Mr. Normand C. Rivard age 86 years a resident of Lisbon St., Lewiston.

A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Normand’s life will be celebrated MONDAY November 23rd 11:00AM at Holy Cross Church. Committal prayers to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
