Bebe was born on September 18, 1955 in Lewiston, Maine, to Mary Ellen (Moore) Myrand and Guy J. Daniel Myrand. Bebe attended Lewiston Schools and graduated in 1973.
She was married on May 9, 1981 to the late Louis Fortin. Bebe is survived by two sons, George (Sara) Fortin, and John Fortin of Greene, three grandchildren, Logan and Madilyn Fortin of Greene and Phoebe Wright of Portland, and one great-grandson Lincoln Fortin of Dixfield.
She was known for her Bebe's Bottle Barn Redemption Center that she opened at her previous residence behind the Greene IGA. She especially loved spending time with her three grandchildren and great grandson. There were many special times with family and friends sitting around the campfire on Allen Pond. She enjoyed her weekly lunches and traveling with her sisters. She was a whiz at Scrabble and loved to play cribbage. Bebe was tender hearted and very generous to those around her. She will be missed by her large family and many friends.
She also leaves behind sisters, Julia (Tom) Atchley, Patrice (Daniel) Gagne, Clare (Scott) Brewer and Joan (Raymond) Garant, two brothers, Daniel (Susan) Myrand of Greene, William (Laura) Myrand of Leeds, also step sisters Pricilla Lebrun, Claire Gagne, Joanne Albert, and step brother David Lessard. She had 19 nieces and nephews, 42 grand nieces and nephews, and 6 great-grand nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and brothers David and Paul Myrand, sister-in-law Lucille Myrand, stepmother Terry and step brother Dennis Lessard.
A graveside ceremony will take place later this summer at Valley Cemetery in Greene.
