Donia Louise Perreault

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donia Perreault, who left this world far too soon on November 13th, 2024. She left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Donia was born in Lewiston on December 16, 1981, to Dan and Veronica Perreault. She attended Lewiston schools and worked at several local establishments as a bartender.

Donia was a free spirit with a heart as big as her vibrant personality. Known lovingly as a “wild child,” she lived life boldly and unapologetically, embracing every moment with passion and fearless energy. Her infectious laugh was the soundtrack of our lives, a sound so full of joy and mischief that it could light up even the darkest days.

She had a way of making strangers feel like friends and friends feel like family. Outgoing, spontaneous, and full of life, Donia had a magnetic presence that drew people in. Whether she was cracking jokes, dancing like no one was watching, or sharing a heartfelt story, she reminded us of the beauty in living fully.

She will be profoundly missed by her family, including her parents Dan and Veronica Perreault, sister Sheena Perreault and partner Craig Bernier, beloved niece Gemma Saint Vil, treasured pets Kitty and Peanut, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of friends who became her chosen family. Her legacy lives on in the countless memories she gifted us, the laughter she shared, and the love she poured into the world.

A celebration of her extraordinary life will be held on Friday November 22nd where we will honor her the way she would have wanted – with laughter, love, and stories that keep her spirit alive.

Donia lived on her terms and left this world with no regrets. While she may no longer walk among us, her light will forever shine in our hearts.

Rest easy, wild child. You’ll never be forgotten.

A Visitation for Donia will be held on Friday, November 22 from 4PM to 6PM, with an in house Memorial Service to follow at 6PM at the Fortin & Pinette Group in Lewiston.
