Cody was born on February 25th, 2007, to his father, Dana Oldham and his mother, Shannon Bryant Oldham.
Cody was an honor roll student attending Edward Little High School and aspired to go into law enforcement once he graduated in 2025. He was enrolled in law enforcement courses at Lewiston Regional Technical Center.
Mumma and Cody shared and extraordinarily special bond because of the many challenges that life presented them, remaining by each others side through it all.
Cody and Dad loved “all things cars”. They enjoyed attending NASCAR races and old car shows together, a well as collecting classic model cars.
Cody played unified basketball for E.L.H.S., enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, and his PS4 video games. He liked everything to do with the subject of history. Cody always supported his New England sports teams by wearing the teams logowear.
He was a kind, loving, and caring child that would do anything for anyone. Cody was a very generous person with a big heart. He gladly offered a helping hand to those in need.
Cody accepted everyone as they were, for their true selves, and never expecting anyone to change. Cody had an “old soul”.
Listening to music was a favorite pastime, especially Elvis, thanks to Ba, his grandfather. Cody enjoyed spending time with his Auntie, on their MANY adventures. Cody’s Nana was his biggest supporter and advocate for his education, helping him to pursue his goals.
He shared a special relationship with his sister, Emma, always the protective big brother and fondly calling her “babies” from the time she was born. Not having a big sister of his own Mirisa, filled that role. He admired her, respected her, and always appreciated her guidance.
Cody had a strong fighting spirit and overcame many obstacles that he was faced with in his lifetime. In addition to Cody’s valiant spirit, we will all miss his special smile, twinkly eyes, contagious belly laugh, and his love of chicken nuggets (“buck buck”).
Cody is survived by his parents, Shannon Bryant Oldham (Candy Alves), Dana Oldham (Dawn Taft), and his sister, Emma Oldham. He is also survived by his Nana and Ba, Barbara and Brad Edwards, his Auntie, Nancy Greenleaf, his aunts and uncles: Judy Sargent (Pat), Danny Bryant (Donna), Ken Bryant, and first cousins: Sarah (Richard), Megan (David), Kim, Seth, Logan, and second cousins: Makayla, David, Austin, Caleb, Jacob, Reid, and his chosen family members: Treece Klick, Mirisa Hernandez Martinez (Rodrigo), Ezequiel Hernandez Martinez, and best friends, Alex Doucette and Mariah Lapointe.
Cody was predeceased by his Grammy, Barbara Bryant.
