Lewiston - Albert A. Michaud, 85 a longtime resident of Greene passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Marshwood Center. He was born in Lewiston son of the late George and Eugenie Jean Michaud. He was educated in Lewiston schools and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was married June 11, 1949 to Lorraine C. Albert who predeceased him October 7, 2003. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a slasher tender at Bates Manufacturing. Albert was a longtime member of St. Francis Church in Greene. He enjoyed gardening and playing cards with his family. He is survived by three sons, Reynold "Rey" Michaud and wife Venida of New Gloucester, Maurice Michaud and wife Madeline of Hillsborough, N.H. and Daniel Michaud of Lunenburg, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Rachelle Keller and husband Ari, Sean Michaud and fiancee Nicole Lapointe, Lorraine Veilleux and Faith Picard; 8 great grandchildren, Robert and Jesse Truitt, Kalan and Malia Clark, Josiah, Levi, Hannah and Mica Keller. Visitation Thursday from 6 to 9 PM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church.
